This romantic walled garden, situated at the River Dawn, was first established in 1994 and evolved over the years. Seven acres of a former woollen mill have been changed into paradise by Dutch artists Wout Muller and Clary Mastenbroek.

Features
Stones from former buildings have been recycled into walls, raised borders, obelisks and magic standing stones. From May 2003 the small gallery has been extended as a museum, for contemporary figurative art.
 
- Formal gardens
- Four lavender fields surrounded by English rose Winchester Cathedral
- Special water features such as a lily pond and in the ruin of the former dye   house a pool has been laid out with reed beds to filter and clean the water
- A North African corner with ornamented doors
- 80m fruit and wisteria walk around the croquet lawn inviting you to play
- Patio areas, a rose gazebo, troughs and sculptures
- A hidden garden with an old terracotta floor and water channel
- A fire garden, a fernery, a maze, bonsai, magic standing stones and mixed borders all with unusual plants and trees
- Enclosed by the River Dawn, 2.5 acres of woodland garden has been laid out and walls of the historic millpond (industrial heritage) have been cleaned
  
Directions
From Waterford follow the N25 in the direction of Cork. After passing through the Carrick Road roundabout, take the first turn on right
 
Facilities
Museum shop, parking, toilet. Refreshments available by appointment.
